Purpose, product and commercial model
Inside Stop Loss.
Hosted trading analytics and accountability SaaS
Stop Loss is a recurring software and hosting service for retail traders, prop-firm challengers and mentoring communities. Customers connect an MT5 account; the platform operates and maintains the terminal on its own worker fleet; and users receive always-on performance analytics, behavioural alerts, rule tracking, journalling and coaching. It is deliberately not a broker or signal seller. The commercial moat is convenience and accountability: customers avoid running their own VPS while receiving a consistent feedback loop from raw trading history to practical improvement actions.
Who the business serves
Retail traders, prop-challenge participants and mentoring communities are the intended customers. They need a reliable record of activity and useful feedback on risk and behaviour. The problem is inconsistent journalling and disconnected reports that show a result without helping the user understand the pattern behind it.
Product and operating model
The revised plan combines maintained MT5 terminal sessions with data collection, trading journals, analytics and structured weekly improvement actions. The operator manages the hosting fleet and account-to-worker assignment instead of relying on each customer to maintain a local terminal. Plans distinguish lower-priority access from premium always-on workloads. Behavioural diagnosis and accountability are the product value; it is not a brokerage or promise of trading returns.
Intended revenue streams
The commercial model below describes the intended ways this business can earn income. It does not represent verified sales, customers or recurring revenue.
- Recurring analytics and hosting
- Software subscriptions package analysis together with the defined hosted-account service.
- Additional hosted accounts
- Extra accounts are separately priced to reflect infrastructure and support requirements.
- Later coach and team plans
- Mentors and communities can use shared reporting once the individual service is reliable.
Development intentions
Prove stable terminal operation, data recovery and useful reporting before expanding premium capacity or team products. The self-hosted operating model is a material delivery requirement, so an acquisition must address machines or continuing hosting rights, support arrangements and account security as well as the website.
